![]() Similarly, the Go and Helm communities have since created central repositories of their own that are drop-in replacements for our centers. Many of the services that Bintray provides are now served by the JFrog Platform for the open source community. JFrog is evolving to meet the new challenges that developers face. We launched GoCenter and ChartCenter to extend similar services to the Go and cloud-native communities. Bintray helped JFrog support the Java community as the host of the JCenter repository for Java OSS libraries, packages and components. JFrog is making some important changes that will impact users of Bintray, JCenter (part of Bintray), GoCenter, and ChartCenter.īintray has provided the open source community a free, universal cloud platform for publishing and distributing binaries. UPDATE : To better support the community in this migration, JFrog has extended the JCenter new package versions submission deadline through March 31st 2021. ![]() Our customers and the community can continue to rely on JCenter as a reliable mirror for Java packages. I never had this problem personally because I’ve always been the sole user on my Windows machines.UPDATE : We listened to the community and will keep JCenter as a read-only repository indefinitely. Thanks to a tip I received from a student of my Inkscape Master Class, apparently Inkscape won’t recognize a font that’s only installed for one Windows user - it has to be installed for all users. In order for your newly installed font to populate in Inkscape, you have to close out of the application and reopen it. The reason why your Inkscape fonts are missing could be because you haven’t restarted the Inkscape application since installing them. This is thanks to a recent Windows update. Quick Fix: Inkscape Fonts are Missing If your fonts are populating in other applications but not Inkscape, it’s most likely because the font needs to be installed for all users. ![]() Whenever you want to use a font in Inkscape, you have to install it on your operating system first, then Inkscape should catalog it next time you launch it. ![]() I made a tutorial for this a while back that you can watch here. Before we get started, first make sure that you do indeed have your fonts installed on your system. ![]()
